11 Waiver adds for Week 13
My favorite week 13 waiver wire options with roster percentages under 68% on Sleeper. Rankings are HPPR with the help of PFF before MNF.
Twelve weeks have passed, and I am constantly reminded of my love-hate relationship with fantasy football. For example, I have scored the second-most points in my league, yet I have a 6-6 record. This week was no exception; usually, I watch Redzone, and since CMC went off on Thursday Night Football, I decided to watch my fantasy QB, Josh Allen, dice up the Eagles. I was enjoying football, not paying attention to the rest of the league. I knew I could beat the Stroud/Hill stack. But halftime rolls around, and I see Kyren Williams playing like 2017 Kareem Hunt. Long story short, I scored the second-most points this week and lost to the guy who scored the most. Fantasy football is like life; it isn't fair, and we won’t give up. We have a couple of weeks left, but there is still a little time left to turn the ship around.
Below are all my favorite week 13 waiver wire options with roster percentages under 68% on Sleeper. Rankings are HPPR with the help of PFF before MNF. Teams on bye this week: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, Minnesota Vikings, and New York Giants.
Quarterbacks
Jordan Love (52%): He feasted on the Lions. If you can look past his matchup this week vs. the Chiefs, he has a great QB playoff schedule. Taking on the Giants in week 14, and the Panthers in week 15. He is worth stashing, but he is a great addition if you lost Joe Burrow.
Baker Mayfield (53%) is in a nice bounce-back spot this week as they host the Panthers.
Gardner Minshew (20%), the Colts are still in the playoff hunt and travel to Tennessee this week. The Titans are in the middle of the road against the pass.
Running backs
Chuba Hubbard (63%): The one bright spot out of Carolina; I am not sure what the new regime will do at RB, and it's a tough matchup for running backs this week vs. the Buccaneers. But the volume should be there.
Samaje Perine (22%): This is a deep shot, but he has back-to-back games with double-digit scoring. The Broncos are running the ball a lot; Samaje should continue to be involved.
Wide Receivers
1. Jayden Reed (55%) has 3 straight double-digit performances. Jordan Love is figuring things out. He also added 16 rushing yards on two carries.
2. Greg Dortch (8%) is turning into Kyler's number 1 target, with back-to-back games of 70+ receiving yards and TDs. He was targeted 9 times but only caught 3 of them. The big plays keep coming. He has 17 targets since week 11. Tough matchup this week vs. the Steelers.
3. Christian Watson is 69% rostered and worth double-checking your waiver wire. Had his season high in receiving yards. I know it's supposed to be 68%, but I couldn't help myself.
Tight Ends
Pat Feiermuth (49%) was 55% rostered last week and had 120 receiving yards vs. the Bengals. The offense looks better without Matt Canada. Pat could be that league-winning tight end for the late-season push.
Tyler Higbee (31%) caught all 5 of his targets for 29 yards and 2 TDs; as long as Cooper Kupp plays decoy, Higbee is as decent of play as anyone.
Isaiah Likely (58%) led the Ravens in receiving yards, catching 4/6 passes. The only problem is the Ravens are on bye this week, so maybe add him next week. But he and Lamar should get in a rhythm this bye week.
