Week 11 Waiver Adds
They say all’s fair in love and fantasy football, and after watching Thursday Night Football, I can confirm it’s true. Ja'Marr Chase put on a Hall of Fame performance, ruining some fantasy players' weekends before Friday even hit. We always say, “That’s rough, but it’d never happen to me.” But you know what’s worse than going up against Chase's 50-plus-point performance? Starting him and still losing. Fantasy football isn’t for the faint of heart. Here are some posts on X from players who could really use some thoughts and prayers right about now.
Below are my Week 11 Waiver Wire Adds all below 55% rostered on Sleeper.
Teams on Bye: Buccaneers, Cardinals, Giants, and Panthers.
Don’t forget to double-check if any of your nanny league mates dropped someone they shouldn’t have.
Quarterbacks
Russell Wilson (29%) vs. BAL
Whether it was the Colorado altitude or those Subway sandwiches, Russ is officially back. He tossed 3 TD passes against Washington, including a moon ball that would have even Neil Armstrong excited. And it gets even better—this week, he’s up against one of the most QB-friendly defenses in fantasy.
Justin Herbert (55%) vs. CIN
Herbert’s on a roll with three straight games of at least 19 fantasy points. He may not throw a ton, but when he does, he’s efficient and capitalizes on his opportunities. With the Bengals allowing an average of 18.6 fantasy points per game to QBs—making them the 4th best matchup for fantasy quarterbacks—Herbert’s in a great spot this week. Chargers defense hasnt given up more than 20 points this season, only thing that is holding Herbert back from really lighting up the fantasy world.
Bo Nix (44%) vs. ATL
Leading all rookie QBs with 15 touchdown passes, Nix just went toe-to-toe with Patrick Mahomes—and some might say he even outplayed him. A blocked field goal was all that stood between him and the win. This week, he faces a Falcons defense allowing 15.8 fantasy points per game to QBs. With his reliable rushing upside, Nix seems to offer a safe floor every week.
Jameis Winston (13%) @.NO
It’s a revenge game against the Saints—enough said. I don’t love the spot, but I don’t hate it either.
Running Backs
Audric Estime (7%) vs. ATL
Estime led the Broncos in rushing attempts and yards on Sunday against the Chiefs, and Coach Payton says he's earned even more opportunities. I’m expecting his snap percentage to jump from 45% to around 65% this week. With Javonte Williams seeing just one carry compared to Estime’s 14, it looks like there’s a new pony in the Denver backfield.
Jaylen Warren (20%) vs. BAL
Warren logged 14 carries to Najee Harris’s 21, showing impressive efficiency with 4.7 yards per carry compared to Harris’s 2.5. While Najee still appears to be the primary goal-line option, limiting Warren’s touchdown upside, Warren should continue to see a reliable 10-15 touches each game. Ravens are tough against opposing running backs. This could be a Warren game.
Gus Edwards (19%) vs. CIN
Was more effiecient than JK Dobbins this past week. But after Coach Harbaugh gave a goal line carry to Hassan Haskins, I really dont know what to think about this backfield.
Wide Receivers
Ricky Pearsell (56%) vs. SEA
With CMC back, the 49ers' wide receivers get a massive boost. Showed off his big-play ability against the Bucs, making him a high-upside flex option. Already posted 4 catches in his first two pro games—promising start! Seems to get better each week.
Mike Williams (20%) vs.BAL
Feels like a whole new player compared to his New York days. Sure, it was just one catch, but Pittsburgh's still searching for that reliable No. 2 pass-catcher—and it’s not Calvin Austin. Oh, and did I mention the Ravens are a dream matchup for fantasy wide receivers? #redline
Mack Hollins (3%) vs. KC
Keon Coleman is out for Sunday’s matchup against the Chiefs, a big game where Josh Allen always seems to bring his best—especially in the regular season. Amari Cooper remains day-to-day. Mack went 4-for-4 with 88 yards against the Colts, though most of it came on a big play before halftime. But with Josh Allen on the move, guys are bound to get open eventually.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling (2%) vs. CLE
Who would have thought that Derek Carr could make somthing out of Aaron Rodgers, and Patrick Mahomes sloppy seconds? Had a HUGE game to help beat the Falcons. Without Chris Olave, MVS is playable, but it’s best to keep expectations in check.
Hail Mary Receivers
Demario “Pop” Douglas (44%) vs. LAR
Back-to-back games with 7 fantasy points—I’ve got a feeling he's about to "pop" any game now (see what I did there?). Drake Maye is playing solid football, and one of these receivers is bound to emerge as the top target. Pop had plenty of hype coming out of training camp, so keep an eye on him!
John Metchie (3%) @.DAL
Nico Collins is returning soon, but is Tank Dell really the guy? Or maybe he’s still working his way back from last season's injury? Meanwhile, Metchie delivered with 5 catches on 6 targets for 74 yards and a touchdown. Monday Night Football could be the perfect stage for a struggling CJ Stroud to find his rhythm again—and maybe Metchie continues right where he left off.
Noah Brown (21%) @. PHI
He just can’t seem to get it going in Washington. Despite seeing at least 6 targets in each of his last three games, the targets are there—it’s just the catches that need to come together. We might be a week early, but with a matchup against Dallas in Week 12.
Tight Ends
Taysom Hill (52%) vs. CLE
Had 6 touches in Sundays win. If it wasnt for holding he would have had an 88 yard TD reception. Could have had a HUGE game.
Pat Freiermuth (51%) vs. BAL
Caught his 3rd TD of the season. Has a juicy matchup this week vs the Ravens. We saw what Tanner Hudson did to them last week on Thursday night football.
Hunter Henry (52%) vs. LAR
He had a tough matchup against the Bears but still holds the TE9 spot on the season. Austin Hooper led the Patriots in receiving yards last week, showing Maye’s tendency to rely on his tight ends. Expect Henry to bounce back this week.
