Week 14 Waivers: Sleigh Your Season with Stocking Stashes
Week 14 is here, its crunch time! Don’t get distracted by the eggnog and Christmas cheer; it’s time to focus. Let’s hammer down and land this sleigh together! Plus, it’s our final week of the regular season—finish strong!
Teams on bye: Baltimore Ravens, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, New England Patriots, Washington Commanders
Quarterbacks
Will Levis (17%) vs. JAX
The Jaguars were the best fantasy matchup for QBs—until C.J. Stroud came along. Now, they’re tied with the Bucs as the second-best matchup, allowing 20.3 fantasy points per game. Meanwhile, Will Levis is heating up. He’s thrown 2 TDs in back-to-back games and has scored at least 16 fantasy points in four straight outings. Think of him like a trusty pair of jeans—might feel a little snug, but he’ll always get the job done.
Caleb Williams (55%) at SF
Averaging 23 fantasy points per game since Waldron left, and now gets a boost with Eberflus out of the picture—finally, a coach who knows how to manage timeouts! The Bears have suffered back-to-back heartbreaking losses, pushing two NFC North teams to the brink.
Russell Wilson (41%) vs. CLE
Two weeks ago, he fell to the Browns in the Snow Bowl. This time, he’s getting the ball to a fired-up George Pickens early—someone hungry for revenge after the Blizzard Brawl. Don’t be surprised if Pickens breaks loose and takes one to the house!
Running Backs
Isaac Guerendo (5%) vs. CHI
You know what’s worse than losing your starting running back to injury? Losing your backup too. Enter rookie Isaac Guerendo—the next man up for the 49ers. Could he be a league winner? If you want to add him, get ready to open your wallet!
Wide Receiver
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine (27%) vs. JAX
This guy does nothing but score touchdowns—he’s on this list every single week! You’ve heard it before: 8 TDs since Week 6, and he’s got another great matchup this week. Stop waiting—pick him up and start him already!
Marquez Valdes-Scantling (41%) at NYG
With 4 touchdowns in his last 3 games, MVS is maximizing every opportunity. The absence of Taysom Hill opens up more target share, and Derek Carr has a habit of peppering his favorite targets. While the volume hasn’t come yet, it’s only a matter of time.
Demarcus Robinson (28%) vs. Buff
Last week, the guy got arrested on suspicion of a DUI—and still managed to catch a touchdown. This week, its going to take every Ram and sheepdog to bring down Josh Allen and the Bills.
Parker Washington (4%) at Tennessee
Had a career game with Mac Jones throwing him the rock. Seems like Mac should be the QB this week as well. Titans have been tough against opposing pass catchers not named Terry McLaurin.
Tight Ends
Noah Gray (18%) vs. LAC
Last week, he saw 6 targets from Patrick Mahomes, catching 4 for 58 yards, including two receptions of over 20 yards. He’s as solid as any tight end option available on the waiver wire.
Pat Freiermuth (42%) vs. CLE
He had a big game against the Bengals and could pick up right where he left off. That’s two straight games with over 50 receiving yards
Juwan Johnson (6%) at NYG
Stepping in for the injured Taysom Hill, it’s wise to temper expectations—but he did see 7 targets last week, which is promising.
Stocking Stashes
Chris Rodriguez (1%)
Austin Ekeler is on IR, and Chris Rodriguez stepped up big with 13 carries, 94 rushing yards, and a touchdown against a tough Titans defense. This might just be the best holiday steal since Cyber Monday!
Kimani Vidal (24%) at KC
Terrible matchup, but his volume was similar to Gus Edwards, just takes a few big plays to lead the committee. Could be valuable on a run first Harbaugh team.
Jaleel McLaughlin (14%) BYE
RBBC waiver add it isnt fun, but maybe he earned the lead role going into the bye week? Had 14 carries for 84 yards. Javonte Williams did have the TD though.
Brandin Cooks (14%) vs. Cincy
As of now, CeeDee Lamb is expected to suit up, but this player could be a solid pickup if Lamb’s status takes a turn later in the week.
Elijah Moore (22%) at Pitt
It’s a tough matchup for opposing pass-catchers, but let’s not forget Denver was considered a tough WR matchup too. Jameis Winston is maximizing the potential of both Moore and Jeudy. However, his big game may have been influenced by Cedric Tillman’s injury, opening up more opportunities.
Adam Thielen (51%) at PHI
The Panthers' top receiver, but I just can’t trust him against the Eagles. Things get a little better for him the following week vs. Dallas.
